There may be a slight overlap between the objectives of mental health counseling and life coaching in that they both help to bring about positive changes in an individual’s life and increase self-awareness. However, a mental health counselor works with clients from various backgrounds to improve their mental health, understand complicated emotions and work toward wellness goals.
As a counselor I will help you overcome psychological problems such as depression and anxiety through different types of treatments e.g. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Talk Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Acceptance and commitment Therapy, and Interpersonal therapy.
